Yggdrasil and Swiss Casinos collaborate to expand the iGaming portfolio.

After forming a collaboration with Yggdrasil Gaming, Swiss Casinos' online casino brand is providing additional iGaming content to its users in Switzerland.

Yggdrasil's content library will be added to the Swiss casinos through the Playtech-powered interface.ch gaming lobby, including games like Raptor, Vikings Go Berzerk, and Valley of the Gods.

Since 2020, Yggdrasil has been active in the Swiss iGaming sector, and the agreement with Swiss Casinos solidifies its standing there.

"As one of Switzerland's leading casino operators, we have built a strong reputation for delivering premium entertainment within a highly regulated market," said Patrick Mastai, Online Casino Director of swisscasinos.ch. 

"We can further expand our game portfolio with tested, high-performing content thanks to our partnership with Yggdrasil."

More games are anticipated to be added to the Swiss Casino online platform in the upcoming months, according to Yggdrasil Gaming.

Yggdrasil expands
Over the past several months, the iGaming supplier has been expanding around Europe, collaborating with Admiral to increase its market share in Serbia.

But Yggdrasil's expansion extends beyond Europe, as it just formed a dual cooperation with SportyBet and Playco.za in South Africa.

"Strengthening our presence in Switzerland through our collaboration with swisscasinos.ch demonstrates our commitment to operating in well-regulated markets," said Lexuri Arnaiz, Yggdrasil's regional manager for Spain and Northern Europe.

Joshua Strydom, Chief Compliance & Risk Officer at Yggdrasil, and Ani Srinivasan, President of iTech Labs, recently discussed the supplier's Game in a Box, a new unique technology intended to streamline and expedite game development from design to release, with iGamingExpert.

"Game in a Box is designed to give studios a structured development framework that already takes account of many of the practical demands involved in regulated distribution," stated Strydom.

Each studio can operate inside a paradigm designed to facilitate licensing, certification, localization, and integration more effectively rather than having to start from scratch with the same regulatory and operational issues. 

"Yggdrasil openly presents it as a framework designed to simplify delivery and handle a large portion of the labor-intensive tasks related to market entry. Regulations do not vanish as a result, nor do compliance requirements. It does this by making the path to market more reliable, scalable, and less reliant on each studio starting from scratch.
